Senior Club
Each Wednesday, the Timberline Artists
group mee The seniors also have a small lounge area, with telephone and television available. The Club hosts other events and activities throughout the year, including trips to Wal-Mart, spa memberships, parties and special events.
The Club also sponsors the Wellness in Senior Health
(WISH) program, in partnership with the Gold King Mountain Inn
spa. WISH is a wellness program to encourage seniors age 50 and up to get
or stay physically fit and active. Members of the Senior Club can enroll
in the WISH program in two ways. First, $75/year includes membership in
both the Club and the spa. Second, with a $12 Club membership, seniors can
add a $20 spa fee and serve 30 hours volunteering with the Club. For more

The
Aspen Mine Senior Club is the site of the Golden Circle Nutrition Program.
Senior Club president Betty Ward is also the on-site chef. Hot meals are
prepared and provided at a nominal cost ($2.00 for seniors) each Monday,
Wednesday and Friday. Menus are printed and posted a month in advance.
